📱 How to Create a Price Alert
Find the Product
Search for the product you want to track, or scan its barcode in-store.
You can set alerts from search results, product detail pages, or even your shopping lists!
Tap the Bell Icon
Look for the 🔔 bell icon next to the product. It's usually near the price or in the top-right corner of the product card.
Choose Alert Type
Select what you want to be notified about:
Confirm & Wait
Tap 'Create Alert' and you're done! We'll send you a push notification as soon as the price drops.
Pro Tip
Make sure notifications are enabled for BuyersMarket in your phone settings. Otherwise, you might miss alerts!
⚙️ Managing Your Alerts
Access all your alerts from the Alerts tab in the app. From there you can:
- ✓View all active alerts in one place
- ✓See triggered alerts and how much you saved
- ✓Snooze alerts temporarily (7 days, 30 days)
- ✓Edit price thresholds
- ✓Delete alerts you no longer need
📜 Alert History
Every triggered alert is saved in your history. You can see:
- •When the alert was triggered
- •Which store had the best price
- •How much you would have saved vs. buying at C-rating
- •Whether you purchased (if you marked it)
